Ghost Cruiser

Devin Giles & Kenzie Housego

First year at NL

Pepper’s Ghost Cruiser is an innovative roving artwork featuring a retro TV set displaying a version of the 1800s Pepper Ghost illusion, essentially an analog hologram.

Using 21st-century technology, will recreate this convincing illusion inside a retro TV box. Mounted on a tricycle, this artwork will move throughout the Night Light Festival, stopping at main hub locations to engage with the public.

We hope the combination of mobility and art transforms the festival environment, offering spontaneous visual surprises and encouraging interaction among attendees.

In collaboration with Kenzie Housego- this blend of creativity, motion, and community spirit will complement the atmosphere of Night Light, making it a memorable and multifaceted experience for all participants.
